New and Noteworthy (Philip K. Dick, Klima on IROSF's End, Hollywood Science)

In today's edition:

* A six-part article from Scott Timberg, who writes the "Hero Complex" blog ("for your inner fanboy") at the L.A. Times, on the life and legacy of Philip K. Dick.

* Jon Klima on the closing of the Internet Review of Science Fiction (the last edition of which went live this month).

* An article in the Guardian discussing physicist Sidney Perkowitz's critique of Hollywood's (mis)use of science, which came to me by way of a somewhat broader treatment of the issue in a piece over at io9, well worth checking out in itself.
