New and Noteworthy (William Gibson and Raymond Chandler, Charles Stross, Cory Doctorow)

In today's edition:

* Danny Bowes at Tor.com on Raymond Chandler and William Gibson, complete with comparative quotations.

* Charles Stross's USENIX 2011 keynote speech on the theme of "Network Security in the Medium Term, 2061-2561 A.D." - in which, as might be expected, he offers his fair share of predictions about where we're going.

* An interview with Cory Doctorow at Georgia Straight about copyright reform. (Also of interest: Doctorow's recent article in The Guardian about "Why CCTV Has Failed to Deter Criminals" - as it pointedly failed to do during the recent rioting in London.)

New Article: "Twenty Years After the Cold War: A Strategic Survey"
