In today's edition:
* Michael Hinman of Airlock Alpha on the continued ratings woes of returning science fiction shows. (Chuck, unsurprisingly, has suffered as a result of its switch to the Friday night death slot, and Fringe and Supernatural are suffering as well.)
* The Moviefone blog chimes in on the soft box office numbers seen this fall.
* Bond 23, titled Skyfall, started filming Thursday. For those keeping track of such things, American Beauty director Sam Mendes is helming, and the cast will feature, besides Craig and Dench, Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe, and the story seems set to continue along the path set by the two previous films.
