The Best and Worst James Bond Novels, Revisited

As of late, one of the bigger draws to this blog has been my post on the best and worst of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels - which offers what has struck me as the general run of opinion about those books, along with a few thoughts of my own.

For a quite different take on the matter, check out this post from Bookriot last year, which ranks the series from best to worst and makes quite a few surprising choices along the way - so that Moonraker winds up at the top, and Live and Let Die at the bottom.

Also of potential interest: this post over at Cult Box which discusses the more idiosyncratic books in the series - including, naturally, Moonraker, You Only Live Twice and the much-criticized The Spy Who Loved Me.
